How This Site Works
Last updated: 16 April 2026
F1 Newsboard is run by one person, with a lot of help from automation. This page explains exactly how stories get on the site.
Who runs it
F1 Newsboard is run solo by Greg C, based in the UK. There is no editorial team, no newsroom, and no paid contributors. Contact: the contact form.
How stories get on the site
F1 Newsboard uses a mix of automation and AI to keep the site updated throughout the day. A human operator oversees everything and can review, edit, or remove any post at any time. Live timing, standings, calendar and race result data come from the OpenF1 public API, which ultimately draws from FIA timing feeds.
Use of AI
Articles are written with AI assistance. This is disclosed on every post via a visible note at the bottom of the article. AI is not used to fabricate quotes, invent sources, or generate stories that aren’t grounded in published reporting.
What we don’t do
- We don’t break news or do original reporting.
- We don’t accept payment to cover, promote, or favour any team, driver, product, or publisher.
- We don’t claim to be a news organisation — this is a fan site.
